This EQ was basicly a unit where it's roots were firmly entrenched in Midi-System technology, complete with fake Hall Church Disco etc fake echos and reverbs. It has a huge flashy display, which seems to promise so many EQ bands to adjust, but actually, it is a lie, as the display has 6 times more bands on it than what can actually be adjusted.

So this EQ only actually had only 3 adjustable frequencies, and a 3 point parametric EQ, which uses a jog-dial to move your curves. Products like this one, are why Graphic Equalizers have such a bad name. To say that I was not happy with this unit is an understatement! I had upgraded to this unit from an old Marantz EQ, and that was a REAL equalizer, with 10 adjustable frequencies per channel, with a real 12dB of boost or cut! Technics actually had the nerve to call this their top-of-the-range EQ!!!

Stay very far away from this unit, it sounds crap, and can only be purchased if you want a huge flashy display, and the ability to bring cheap midi system Karaoke to your vintage stack! The condensor C, uf, 50V was bad. This EQ is clearly influenced by the love of the Japanese for Karaoke, it has 2 microphone inputs, a pitch shifting and echo option and a room simulation.
